Introduction

The Fujin is a quadrupedal medium robot with 3 medium hardpoints.

Power

The Fujin's power is called Sentry Way, which gives information technology a powerful energy shield, which can be bypassed by energy weapons. When in Scout mode the Fujin's torso is raised for a larger field-of-view while maintaining the ability to rotate or move. The free energy shield just recharges while the robot is in Sentry Way.

Strategy

The Fujin'due south energy shield is very similar to the Ancile and to the Carnage's shield, but the Fujin'south energy shield has higher hitting points (HP) making information technology the nigh durable Ancile-blazon shield in the game. The Fujin's free energy shield has approximately 12.5% more hitpoints than its actual health at any given level (at Level 12 Mark 1 the Fujin has 135,000 hitpoints and its energy shield has 152,000 hitpoints). Information technology regenerates at the same iii% per centum rate every bit the Ancile, and re-activates at xx%. It blocks kinetic weapons and splash weapons such as the Orkan and Thunder, just not energy weapons like the Magnum.

Like every other energy shield, when a kinetic weapon hits the shield a blue honeycomb-like pattern will announced where the projectiles strike it. Fast robots tin be unsafe for the Fujin, as they can bypass its shield past walking through it and unload their weapons at point blank range.

The Ancile shield activates as soon every bit Sentry Mode is initiated, whether or non the Fujin'due south trunk has risen to its full height or not, and then information technology serves every bit a good "Panic Push" which tin can cake incoming kinetic Sentry mode has a two-second activation and deactivation fourth dimension and has no cooldown. The Ancile shield only regenerates when the Fujin is in Sentry Mode.

Like its counterparts the Raijin, Weyland, Rayker, Jaeger and Invader, the Fujin is a quadrupedal robot. While it cannot climb like the Raijin or Weyland, this does give it special characteristics that other robots do not have. Firstly, quadrupedal robots do not suffer from landing lag when they fall from a loftier place. Other robots pause every bit they blot the shock whereas the quadrupeds do non. Secondly, Fujin, Raijin, Weyland, Rayker, Jaeger and Invader are significantly more than maneuverable and capable of irresolute directions chop-chop due to their legs allowing them to move in any direction without turning. Other robots must rotate their lower bodies to the new direction. This means that the Fujin benefits from superior agility in addition to already being reasonably fast.

The Fujin has 2 weapon hardpoints that are relatively low on its torso, assuasive it to hit small robots such every bit the Stalker, Pursuer, and Loki, while they are in stealth fashion.

Since enemy bots can walk through the Fujin's energy shield to deal point blank impairment, Fujin pilots should be aware of their positioning and know when to move to avert the situation. Vulnerability at very close range in addition to its three Medium hardpoints and energy shield brand the Fujin perfectly suited to perform equally a suppressor.

Fujin pilots must too exist aware of snipers using energy weapons like the Trebuchet and Flux. The Fujin'southward under-average health ways that even low-DPS (Damage per 2nd) sniper weapons tin have a significant upshot.

The Fujin's free energy shield can besides be used to protect teammates backside the Fujin from enemy fire due to its large surface surface area.

Threat Measure

With a built-in energy shield, 3 medium weapons, and average speed, the Fujin is a high threat in the lower leagues. Its low health and succeptabilty to free energy weapons makes it very vulnerable in mid-to-high league play.

Possible Setups

Some effective builds for Fujin are:

Note: Each slot type is filled with only 1 item weapon. For case, if a robot has 3 lite all three of those slots are filled with Pinatas, as mixing weapons of the same slot type is not advisable.

Not Recommended

  • The use of the Shocktrain isn't recommended every bit it is best mounted on fast moving robots using hit-and-run tactics to avoid retaliation and enemy burn, and although information technology tin can change directions instantly and has decent speed for a medium robot, the Fujin only isn't fast enough. Think, its ability sacrifices 30%movent for shielding, so Sentry Style isn't well suited to this build either.
  • The use of the Storm isn't advised due to the very close range required for it to be effective (under 200 meters). The Fujin does not take enough wellness to approach and appoint enemy robots whilst under fire, and it is 30% slower when it is in Watch Fashion.
  • The use of the Scourge is non recommended for shut-range either due to it also being most effective at point-blank(far and prophylactic) range, where enemy robots can walk through the Fujin'southward free energy and bypass it, rendering the Fujin vulnerable. However, using information technology every bit a mid-range (400 meters or higher) role is effective.
  • Yous tin can mix Storm and Scourge for both shut and long-range attacks, but mixing weapons of the same slot type is not advisable. Information technology's best to utilise mid-range weapons.

  • It is one of five robots with a built-in energy shields, the others being the Carnage, Haechi, Barrier, and Fenrir. Its energy shield is the strongest
  • The Fujin does non suffer from landing lag. This is because information technology is a quadrupedal robot
  • Due to its iv legs, the Fujin can hang off the side of ledges without falling off. This tin be used to gain a improve angle to fire at opponents. However, information technology cannot climb up obstacles, different the Raijin and Weyland
